Abstract
Originally, ethnography is a way of academic research which many cultural anthropologists have used. Business people have growing interest in ethnography as consulting method. Some large enterprises are studying it for practical use. This report states the present situation in business. The purpose of this study is to see potential for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The report verifies that ethnography is practically effective for SMEs and we should be careful about profitability in the consulting of SMEs.
