In this paper, it is claimed as the method of the local design towards reproduction of “Setouchi” that a context design is effective. Since the name of a place called Setouchi differs from an administration unit, it is necessary to practice not the local design that was based official name and on contents but the local design which was based on the context. For that purpose, probably, it will be desirable to perform context conversion from three viewpoints of a conceptual zone design, the constellation design, and a topos design.

As for the power conflict theory, analysis has been stimulated until now by the dyadic relationship which was composition of the traditional marketing exchange. In this paper, I utilize network perspective ahead of the dyadic relationship of a seller and the buyer and examine significance and the direction of reconsidering a power conflict theory. And I speak implication to a management diagnosis while considering connection with the existing study approach.

In this study, we discuss the human resource development on of expert skills in machine tool industries. We tried to clarify that the success of personnel training still largely depends on OJT (On-the-Job Training). The problem with OJT is the time needed to complete personnel training. In addition, it was also discovered that personnel training programs using Off-JT (Off-the-Job-Training) have not improved until recently due to lack of both the number of trainers and of the time needed for preparation. For this purpose, we deconstructed the machining processes used for a tool machining-center unit into operational processes, and analyzed the operational processes to correlate their degree of difficulty, education method, education stage, occurrence frequency, and skill dependency. By this method, we clarified kinds of operational processes, timing for education, and methods of transfer. This suggestion would be useful for small and medium companies in the machine tool industry to develop their educational programs step by step according to their respective resource situations.

At that time, I divide it into type 1 in the TCA classification and type 2, with type 1, we can find waste from the expense that it costs directly at a production line, with type 2, this easy-to-use tool can be readily provided to help manufacturers identify and reduce their waste costs.

In globalization era, the Japanese manufacturing industries are required to effectively adapt for variable demand, growing product variety and decreasing production lot-size. In the era, shop floor managers have to process supply information sent from globally located manufacturing plants in order to make their decisions. Meanwhile older workers, unskilled workers and foreign workers in Japan are increasing in their shop floors. In these situations, some operational supports are necessary to improve their shop floor productivity and product quality. To help the shop floor management effectively, visualization (i.e. management by visualization) which has been originally developed in Toyota Production System (TPS) is available. The current visualization is aided by IT technology to visualize some information such as production schedule, inventory level, quality control data, and so on at shop floors. The purpose of the research is to show some practice examples of visualization using IT technology and then to discuss the usefulness of visualization using IT technology for the shop floor management.
