In recent years, active discussions have been conducted on the construction of a route west of Nagoya on Linear Chuo Shinkansen. In Ise Bay area (Aichi Prefecture and Mie Prefecture),there is a rumor that a new station will be set up around Kameyama City in Mie Prefecture, but a question remains as to whether that is the most appropriate. In this study, we propose to construct new stations for the Linear Chuo Shinkansen around Chubu Centrair International Airport and Suzuka City. By going through Centrair and Suzuka City, we explain that the improvement of convenience for residents along the Linear Chuo Shinkansen and economic effects are expected as well as Ise Bay area. Moreover, if the proposal of this study is realized, we argue that it is worth considering as a national policy in order to contribute to the elimination of overcrowding at Narita and Haneda airports, and the backup of passenger transportation at the time of disaster in the metropolitan area and Kansai area.
