Abstract

The Food Crisis of 2008 was brought on by the interaction of three combined elements related to Food, Fuel and Finance (3F). This type of Food Crisis is considered to be a recurrent social issue in the future due to the rapid increase in the world's population, which may exceed 9 billion by 2050. The fairest and most effective paradigm through which to meet such a future crisis is to establish self-supporting agricultural management systems in each country.
