Simulation of Interim Housing Demands for the Anticipated Nankai Megathrust Earthquake: Population Change for Shortage of Temporary Housing Supply and Moving Out to Appartments

Abstract

This paper discusses about the simulation on the interim housing demands after the anticipated Nankai megathrust earthquake. Microsimulation using the web-based questioner survey data was conducted. The distribution of housing type requirements such as government paying rental apartment, temporary repair, apartment renting, government temporary housing, and the others, and the movement of people after the event are simulated.
