Applications of Statistics to Medical Science, III Correlation and Regression

Abstract

In this third part of a series surveying medical statistics, the concepts of correlation and regression are reviewed. In particular, methods of linear regression and logistic regression are discussed. Arguments related to survival analysis will be made in a subsequent paper.
