From November 24 th 1978 through August 3rd 1979, 1, 000 examinations were carried out with 4 th generation computed body tomography scanner, Delta-scan 2010 at the CBT center of Nippon Medical School Daiichi Hospital.
A statistical review is reported on sex and age distribution. The requisitions on body organs by each department are analyzed. New indication for computed body tomography is discussed. Our technic of whole body second fast scanner tomography as well as contrast enhancement is explained on these cases. Present status of CBT in our department of radiology is evaluated, and perspectives of this modality of examination are discussed. Illustrative cases with Delta-scan 2010 are demonstrated and explained.
