Abstract

This paper describes the revision of JICST Unified Classification Table on Science & Technology which has been used for classifying items of JICST Files on Science and Technology and the JICST File of On-going Research Themes for Governmental and Public Research institutes since 1975, and partial revision of section classification for whole series of Current Bibliography on Science & Technology. This revised edition will be used starting in 1981, but the former classification table is still effective for files up to 1980.
