JICST started an online information service as a JICST Chemical Substance Name File on JOIS from April, 1996, extracting the name of chemical substance contained in JICST Chemical Dictionary Database which is now serviced on JOIS-F. Concerning the JICST Chemical Substance Name File newly started at this time, its outline and crossover retrieval method to JICST File and JMEDICINE File are explained using \MAP command.
