Abstract

A brief survey of chemical information activities in Japan is given. Special attention is focused on change from printed to digital primary information, publication of Nihon Kagaku Soran by Majima, Japanese CA Abstractors Association, and abstracting and indexing at JAICI. History of JAICI is described in relation to CAS/STN and JICST/JST.
