In recent years, as content of work and values of workers have diversified, functions required for the office have diversified. However, many of the current office are designed to rely on the experience and sense of designers.
Therefore, it is important to build the office incorporate the viewpoints of workers.
The aim of this study is to get effective knowledge in realizing better office environment by analyzing the free descriptions with photography by workers.
The authors conducted Self-Photo survey applied Caption Evaluation Method to clarify the reason why a worker evaluate the place.
After having classified the activity in the office as "Creative activities", "Processing activities", and "Refreshing activities", workers filled in following three points about good places for each activity.
1) Selected place photography 2) Satisfaction level of the place 3) The reason why evaluate the place such as 2) by free descriptions
As a result of surveys, we pointed out the gap between intention and real plan for refresh space, and arranged the requirements of the places for each activity.
