Increasing attention has been directrd toward urban goods movements problems in recent years. One of the most popular plans is the freight transport by joint contract carries. This paper aims at establishing the methodology for assessment of the impact of this plan. Impact assessment model consists of two modal choice model to estimate the share of contract carriers and joint contract carriers, model to determine the optimal truck number and routes, and model to calculate the magnitude of impacts.
