Abstract

This article is the report of development of the regional micro-model for predicting land use pattern guided by a road net work improvement. A road net work improvement has various effects on socio-economic conditions of region. So far, many impact studies have been made and it is evident that a road net work influences on locations of housing, shops and industries. The regional micro-model has a purpose to estimate numerically such effect on land use pattern. The case study for developing the model was made in “Higashi Osaka chiiki area” of Osaka prefecture.
