Abstract

An important factor, that must be taken into consideration for demand analysis of shopping trips is that shoppers do not have perfect information concerning the distribution of shops in each alternative shopping area. A hearing survey to shoppers was conducted to analyze the awareness of the shop distribution and shopping trips in two shopping areas. The result was that shoppers knew each point in a shopping area based on the relation to station and big stores.
