THE OBJECT OF THIS STUDY IS THAT HOW DOES THE CHANGE OF SHAPE OF ONE BUILDING HAVE AN EFFECT ON ESTIMATION OF THE CONTINUITY OF TOWNSCAPE. THE INTERACTIVE MOVING 3-DIMENSION STEREOGRAM SIMULATION IS TAKEN AS METHODOLOGY. THE RESULT IS AS FOLLOWS :(1) THERE ARE TWO GROUPS HAVE DIFFERENT ESTIMATION CHARACTERISTICS. (2) THE ESTIMATION OF ABOUT 80% OF SUBJECTS IS EXPLAINED BY FOLLOWING EXPRESSION : F=-0.31X-0.20Y+9.17 (3) THE ESTIMATION OF ABOUT 20% OF SUBJECTS IS EXPLAINED BY FOLLOWING EXPRESSION : F=-0.15Y-0.12Z+10.17 (F: CONTINUITY, X : VARIED QUANTITY OF HEIGHT (M) , Y : VARIED QUANTITY OF SETBACK (M) , Z : VARIED QUANTITY OF WIDTH (M)) . THE MOVING 3-DIMENSION STEREOGRAM SIMULATION CAUSES MORE VARIOUS ESTIMATION BECAUSE INFORMATION IS MORE INCREASE THAN FIXED PICTURE.
