Abstract
Many regular sightseeing bus are operated all over the country. However the number of sightseeing bus user shows a tendency to decrease nowadays, condition of regular sightseeing bus service is getting increasingly worse. On the other hand many regions try to activate their own municipality in cooperation with circumferential municipalities as "tourist city". Under these circumstances, regular sightseeing bus service can be looked forward to connect tourist resort effectively and activate regions as a whole. To reveal the state of regular sightseeing bus service and evaluate the benefit of it in regions, questionnaire is conducted on both bus company all over the country and city government in Fukui prefecture. As the result, fundamental data about regular sightseeing bus service is grasped. In addition it is cleared that the problems to make the most of it and the meaning from a viewpoint of bus company and city government.
