Abstract
Town planning in Singapore is based on Planning Act 1970 and consists of Concept Plan 1991 and Development Guide Plans. Recently. Government started waterfront development in order to realize higher and more comfortable living as well to do one worldwide business centers. The Areas are Downtown Core & Port View area and Singapore River Area. Both development projects should be based on each Development Guide Plan and be divided into 3 programs at stages 2000, 2010 and Year X.
