The purpose of this paper is to estimate the relationship between community sense to street space and its understanding of influences caused by a planned artery as a reconstruction plan at Suma Word. As a results of this analysis, it could conclude as follows; Residents on this field recognize in terms of their use that artery and pro-artery are dangerous, and that streets and alleys are safe. Then, they anticipate that the influences would severely damage their community as a residential neighborhood in comparison with their recognitions of daily street space. Their structural understandings of streets space as a whole provide resources for their own community development activities.
