観光地の活性化事業における駐車場整備に関する事後評価

It can be said that it is indispensable to stock case studies of reforms for formulating effective policies to various tourist destinations. Redevelopment of tourist district has been progressing in Chuuguushi District of Nikko City. The total plan for revitalizing it was made in 1990. The program of parking facility has been conducted as the first step of the project based on the plan. This paper describes effects of the program from two kinds of aspects. One is that of goals of the plan. The other is that of promoting the project to take agreement with inhabitants of the district.
