In recent years, the sudden change of land price caused many social and economical problems in Japan. This study aims to explain the structure about the spatial spread of land price variation between regions. By applying the multidimensional scaling method to land price data, we found the pattern that the land price had arisen from Tokyo as a start point, with time delay, spread to the other regions and the land price variation tended to decrease with the spread. And, we analyzed the factors of spatial variation by some statistical approach and estimated a structural model of land price variation to examine the effect of land management policies. As a result, we could confirm that the land price was diminished by the effect of land management policies.
