Abstract
In this paper, we try to apply the Huff's model to an actual travel data in Japan. We can estimate the attraction power of each prefecture and decrease parameter of travel time. The model applying leads to describe the number of visitors of a prefecture with the attraction power, travel time, and the number of departing travelers from each prefecture. The Huff's model structure allows a sensitivity analysis for the number of visitors with travel time. We estimate the actual effect of travel time shortening about the increase of visitors with the sensitivity analysis. We describe a map drawn the most effective direction of traffic infrastructure developments for prefectures. The map show the policy for traffic infrastructures to multiply the visitors and to expand the regional economy.
