Abstract
More than 30 years hav passed since the remote suburbs have been developed in the period of the high economic growth. The initial inhabitants in these resident's area have been aging, therefore, inheritances of these houses become frequent there, inheritances of these houses become frequent there. This study considered how these resident's area seemed to change at the time of these inheritances. The research was held in Mejirodai resident's area, Hachiouji where the detailed plan is effectively being carrying out. The brake on the change of the land use which cause the resident mobbing out and generated the vacant houses. While, we find out semi-detached houses appeared in the detached resident's area
