Abstract
This paper is on the community parks in Beijing. First of all, we arranged the ordinance and integrity of the community parks. Second, based on the analysis of the system and standard of community parks as well as pattern on living district and maintenance method, we propose a clear classification pattern on community parks in Beijing. Their construction levels are arranged by this pattern. Furthermore, represent community parks for each pattern are selected and investigated in field. Their features including configuration and usage level were characterized. Based on above-mentioned results, the condition and existing problems on construction of community parks in Beijing are discussed.
