Abstract
Recently, in Japan, service revels of public transportation have been revised upward; besides some people say we should use public transportation more. To promote public transportation use, it is necessary to make it convenient. However, we cannot run more trains and buses easily, so we should consider improvement of diagrams. In this study, we notice the condition such as follows, some service routes are available when we use public urban transportation, and we analyze diagrams with "Expected Value of Travel Time (EVTT)", which can consider not only travel time but also elements like irregular departure time. Then we compare present diagrams with improved diagrams using EVTT. Through these analyses, we reveal the change of EVTT by improvement of diagrams, and if EVTT becomes longer, we show causes of this change.
