Many residential areas were developed around the city center during the socialist era in Prague, Czech Republic. Today, decades have passed since these developments, the way of regeneration against physical degradation witch depends on these areas' own situations is one of the very important issues. This paper aims to be clarifying the way of the regeneration through the policies of Prague city and Prague11, 13 ward offices. As a consequence, two points are obtained. First, Prague city office conducted a survey of the residential development areas from socialist era in order to arrange the area and building information which is the base of these areas' regeneration. Second, the residential development planning in socialist era of Prague11 and 13 are characteristic and Prague11 and 13 ward offices have their own policies for the regeneration of the areas.
