Abstract
Paying attention to long-life quality housing, this study understands the trend of location in Nagaoka City as a case study. Moreover, this research aims to search the problem of the long-life quality housing system for the future urban area by clarifying the trend of location and the environment in the surrounding area. The long-life quality housings have been built into low population density and low infrastructure area. Some residents of long-life quality housing choose the location at the expense of the convenience of the environment and daily life in the surrounding. Because long-life quality housing cannot keep sustainability without environmental livability, the location inducement is necessary.
