Abstract
It is moving forward from the era of repeating scrap-and-build to the era of emphasizing management in the central urban area of Japan. In this study, we focus on the transition and activities of regional organization and area management organizations in Umeda regional area around Osaka Station and clarify the influence of cooperation caused by area management activities. This study considers that it is essential not only to increase participating organizations but also to promote deregulation for area management activities and improve the quality of activities for the cooperation of follow-up organizations in the future.
