Abstract
In civic activities where NPOs address local issues, city-resident funds that assist such NPOs with donations from city residents are raising expectations. However, many city-resident-centric city-resident funds have been launched recently. Although it is regarded as fundamentally important foster these city-resident funds appropriately for performing business activities, details of the approach remain unclear. Accordingly, in this study, we specifically examined city-resident-centric city-resident funds, and analyzed and discussed management problems of these city-resident funds through a questionnaire survey, aiming at acquiring knowledge for investigating solutions to these problems. Therefore, we elucidated management problems of city-resident-centric city-resident fund organizations and proposed solutions to their difficulties.
