Abstract
A number of local core cities develop a plan to improve efficiency of bus routes in order to maintain the service of public transportation. Because there are some areas where the plan forces the residents to do additional transfer, it is considered that facilities of transit hub have to be equipped to reduce inconvenience of transfer. In this study, we conducted a survey of transport hub focusing on accompanying facilities. As a result, it is revealed that many transport hubs are located on the junction of existing bus route network. More transport hubs with other facilities will be built in the future, but there remain many problems relating to the public private cooperation. It is desired to make plans which give mutual advantage to the public and private sector.
