Abstract
The authors tried to clarify differences of visual perception on wayfinding between two groups, subjects guided by the mobile walk navigation and those by the conventional map, because the authors wanted to propose a new urban design methodology for the forthcoming IT era. Under their hypotheses based on precedent and existing studies, the authors made wayfinding experiments on the two groups using an eye-mark-recorder in Kofu City. As a result, visual perception of the subjects of those who were guided by the mobile walk navigation didn't change, while that of those by the conventional map changed.
