Railroad tunnels with different cross sections composed of 3 lines of track (φ14.18m), including side track line, and dual track lines (φ9.7m), are excavated with only one shield machine. This paper deals with the required accuracy for on-site assembling of super large diameter multiply divided nesting child shield machine, detailed actions to be taken to ensure required accuracy, and the actual results of on-site assembly.
