Abstract

This report describes to mechanism of cutting face stabilization with Steelpipe Steel-Sheet-Pile Pressfit Blow Method (SSPB) in shallow earth tunnel. This method is a kind of fore polling and is using of steel pipe attached with steel-sheet-pile. The purpose of this method is preventing for loosing degree of adhesion of soil around cutting face. Authores study on the effect of cutting face stabilization of this method using by analysis of 3-D FEM in comparison between fore polling without steel-sheet-pile and fore polling with steel-sheet-pile and research in some measured data of stain about steel-pipe and steel-sheet-pile in actual execution of this method. So, authores confirm that it is an effective method preventing for loosing degree of adhesion of soil around cutting face in shallow earth tunnel.
