TiO2-SiO2 supports were prepared by impregnation of Ti(OCH(CH3)2)4 on SiO2. These supports were characterized by use of BET surface area and XRD. Pd catalysts supported on TiO2-SiO2 binary oxides showed the higher catalytic activity for naphthalene hydrogenation as compared with that supported on SiO2 or TiO2, and the optimum TiO2 content was 20%.
