1. Karyotype analysis was carried out on five species and one variety. Their karyotype formulae are represented as follows:
Delphinium Ajacis K(2n)=16=2^tA^m+2B^m+10C^st+2D^st
Lycoctonum chrysopilum K(2n)=16=2A^m+2B^st+2^tC^st+8D^st+2E^st
L. Loczyanum K(2n)=16=2^tA^m+2B^st+2C^st+6D^st₁+2^tD^st₂+2^tE^st
L. pterocaule K(2n)=16=2^tA^m+2B^st+2^tC^st+8D^st+2^tE^st
Aconitum senanense K(2n)=32=2^tA^m₁+2A^m₂+2B^st₁+2B^st₂+4C^st+12D^st₁+4^tD^st₂+4E^st
A. japonicum var. montanum K(2n)=32=2^tA^m₁+2A^m₂+2B^st₁+2B^st₂+4C^st+14D^st₁+

2. The haploid chromosome set of Lycoctonum-species bears a much stronger resembrance to the basic set of Aconitum-species than to the haploid set of Delhhinium Ajacis.
