In this presentation, we show how the recently-developed TDNRG approach can be used to calculate numerically two-time non-equilibrium correlation functions of quantum impurity systems. We apply the method to the Anderson impurity model subject to a sudden quench to study the time evolution of the spectral function. In particular, driving the system from an initial state without a Kondo resonance to a final state with a Kondo resonance, and following the time evolution of the spectral function, we quantify how and on which time-scale the Kondo effect fully develops in real time.
