Ferrimagnetic Resonance in Mn₂Sb and Cr-Modified Mn₂Sb

Ferrimagnetic resonance has been studied in Mn₂Sb and Mn_1.96Cr_0.04Sb over the temperature range −200° to 100°C. For applied fields normal to the crystalline anisotropy axis, resonance was observed for two values of field as expected. The data are in agreement with theory both above and below the anisotropy inversion temperature. Spin wave resonance corresponding to the strong intralayer exchange was observed in films.
