The sublattice magnetization and the specific heat of CoCl2·6H2O are calculated with the use of antiferromagnetic spin wave theory and compared with the experiments. With the spin wave spectrum obtained, the calculation gives the T4-law of the sublattice magnetization, which agrees with the experiment satisfactorily with a slightly different proportional constant from that given by Renard. On the hand, the calculated specific heat shows a different temperature dependence from the experiment by Donaldson and Edmonds. In the present case, the effect of the magnon-phonon interaction is shown to be small.
