The Fourier transform of the distribution function characterizing the square radius of gyration of a uniform star molecule of functionality f is represented by the Feynman path integral and is exactly evaluated by the well-known method in the path integral. The characteristic function derived has the simple form:

where x2=2aiρLdf, a the length of a segment, L the contour length of a subchain, ρ the Fourier transform parameter, d the space dimensionality, and i=(−1)1⁄2.
