Subthreshold parallel pumping of magnons in the quasi-one-dimensional ferromagnet, CsNiF3, is investigated at 70, 90 and 120 GHz at temperatures between 1.3 and 4.2 K. The absorption line shape which is anisotropic in the easy-plane is found to be proportional to the magnon density of states which is calculated by using the following parameters: intrachain ferromagnetic exchange field HE=300 kOe, interchain antiferromagnetic exchange field HE′=−1200 Oe, magnetization M=240 emu/cm3 and anisotropy field HA=58 kOe. One of the two peaks which are the peculiar features of the magnon density of states in quasi-one-dimensional ferromagnets is revealed by this experiment.
