The β− decay of 76As to 76Se has been studied extensiveIy. The energies and relative intensities of 56 gamma rays have been measured with a high precision. Six new gamma rays have been observed with energies 776.5, 852.8, 857.0, 957.6, 1060.6 and 1881.3 keV in the decay of 76As. Out of these, gamma rays with 852.8, 957.6, 1060.6 and 1881.3 keV energies have been placed in the decay scheme. Gamma rays with energies 863.9 and 1564.3 keV reported earlier but not placed in the decay scheme have been confirmed and fitted in the present decay scheme. Spin assignments of 1− and 2− have been made to the levels at 2655.31 and 2669.80 keV on the basis of gamma-gamma angular correlation measurenaents. Also, the multipole admixtures in 657, 1228, 1439, 2096 and 2111 keV transitions have been evaluated.
