The nonlinear susceptibilities of a spin glass compound (Ti1−xVx)2O3 (x=0.04, 0.10) have been measured by an ac mutual inductance bridge. The third and fifth nonlinear susceptibilities, which are observed as the third and fifth higher harmonics of the applied field, show the very sharp peak in the vicinity of the spin glass ordering temperature Tg, and increase logarithmically near Tg as the temperature approaches to Tg. These results are compared with the theories which indicate the cooperative freezing of spins.
