Abstract
「ASOBI NO KYOSHITSU」 is the play group of mother and infant who has developmental retardation or weekness. The purpose of this study was to analysis of features of the mother and child in this group and to investigate whether obtained some effect on them. Results ; (1) In the analysis of records of play observation, a child with hyperactibity and the disturvance of interpersonal cognition ((a) type) and his mother who was needed to chanage of her caretaking attitude ((A) type) changed for the better unmarkedly. On the other hand, a child with other retardation ((b) type) and his mother ((A) type) were seen to remarkable change and developement as enlarging and adding to the play experience. And a mother who was needed to acknowledge the retardation of her child ((B)type) was achieved its purpose in this group. (2) The features on their play and the point of direction were as follows ; (a) type children are needed to construct mother-child relation tightly and then to invite him to the active group play. (b) type children are needed to think out idealable way of play as their developmental level. (3) In the analysis of a questionnaire to mothers, they evaluated their children's development, especially the effect on the social development. And many mother felt that they were brought to some new aspects on the view of caretaking and child.
