Abstract
The occupied bandwidth of an UWB radar system is more than 450 MHz, in such wide frequency bandwidth there are restrictions in order to share with other wireless systems. In this paper, the regulatory status in Japan is reported by referring a report issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), which has started to investigate about interference effect to existing wireless systems from December 2006.
