Floating Mount Technology of a Motor Built-in Dry Multiple-disc Clutches for the Transmission of a New Hybrid Vehicle

Abstract

This paper describes a new packaging technology for mounted compact one-motor, two-clutch parallel hybrid system for front-wheel-drive vehicles. This floating mount technology for the transmission substantially reduces noise by controlling the resonance of electromagnetic force in the motor. The new developed seal structure enables the built-in dry multiple-disc clutches into the motor.
