Abstract
To improve thermal efficiency of engine,the requirement forWaste Heat Recovery (WHR) system is increasing.Rankine cycle is the most promising system for WHR,because it is practical and high efficiency in small temperature difference.In this paper,development of compact and high efficiencyWHR system with a new cooling system using latent heat are investigated.The system showed a remarkable fuel consumption improvement over the wide operation range of a passenger car engine.
