Abstract
The protected cultivation in Japan is a very intensive farming which requires a great amount of labor. Therefore, the mechanization or labor-saving for the protected cultivation is one of the most important problems. High temperature and high humidity environment in greenhouse are necessary for growing crops but not for workers. For that reason, it is helpful for the workers to be improved the working environment. In this report, the author points out the present situation and the problems to be solved for the various movable type crop-bed system in greenhouse, and discusses on the primary factor for the new type system to develop.
