To analyze the excessive stresses quantitatively which appears on a tractor frame, the first asymptotic maximum probability distribution (FASM) was taken into account to set up a reliable and practical estimation technique. Several findings can be described as follows.
Firstly, the shape parameters of Weibull distribution for various type of operating modes were examined in seeking their possible trend within a certain width of stress variations. Secondly, the distribution patterns of actual stresses were classified into two portions, i. e., the measured region and the estimated one. In the analysis of the latter, high practical adaptability of Poisson distribution was discerned. Lastly, the linear relationship between theoretical and observed values can be recognized in good agreement each other. It can be verified that the quantitative estimation in terms of excessive stresses will be possible in higher confidence.
