Abstract

This paper described the fractional of tilled clod configurations, minute undulations and cracks of tilled clods.
The clod outline curves, the crack curves and the crack distributions were estimated as fractional configuration within the measuring scales. we obtained unique values of their fractal dimensions respectively, and then we discussed about three mathematical models for the clod formation process. It was considered that the minute undulations and the cracks were formed by the vibration of the rotary blade with its natural frequencies and that the fractal structure was developed from the microscopic interaction between the soil and the blade.
