On the Field Performances

Abstract

Various characteristics of the field performance of adjustable lug type traction aid for farm tractors developed by the authors were tested.
It was found that the tractive performance was largely improved by the use of this device, and there was the effect of reducing soil compaction when tractors ran on tilled fields. Besides, many useful functions were found, for example, there are the effects of reducing sideslip and preventing overturn of tractors on slopes, and it can be utilized as the means of getting out of the immobilized state of tractors that occurs on soft ground and so on.
