Autonomous follow-up vehicle system (AFVS) has been studied in order to save time and labor in farming. The AFVS allows one operator to utilize more than one machine simultaneously. In this system a computer-controlled vehicle chases the operator-controlled vehicle using the ultrasonic sensors. This report describes about the field test that was done using two combines applied the AFVS. RTK-GPS was used to estimate the performance of the AFVS. As the result, the AFVS could harvest rice successfully in the field.
